Membership Categories & Applications

There are different kinds of membership categories according to the size of the company or organization, in addition to "Associate Membership" on reciprocity, and "Membership for Individuals", who don’t belong to any company or organization.

1. Egyptian Corporate Membership for small, medium & large size companies

a) Egyptian companies in business relations with Germany
b) Egyptian companies seeking business opportunities in Germany

A membership is acquired under the name of the Company represented by one of the high management members.  A General Member will acquire a personal membership card that entitles him to all chamber benefits, services discounts and promotions.

2. Egyptian Corporate Affiliated Membership

Must be nominated by the voting corporate representative and will receive all the benefits of a corporate membership but without voting rights. There is no restriction on the number of persons applying to this membership category.  This Membership is specialized for employees at Members Company, who would like to actively participate at the chamber activities. They will get a personal membership card, allowing them to use the discounts and promotions offered to membership cardholders only. Those members have to be personally designated or recommended by the General Manager.

3. German Corporate Membership

a. German companies having branches, agents or representative offices in Egypt. 
b. German companies seeking business opportunities in Egypt

The membership is owned by the company/organization in Germany. One voting corporate representative, who will be the chamber’s main Contact person and be listed in the membership directory, information about all GACIC events, informed of regular updates.

4. Individual Membership

Individual persons without company affiliation and may join as private member, listed in the membership directory, information about all GACIC events, informed of regular updates, no voting privileges.
